Like its larger counterpart, this single sunflower is in full bloom. I have created steel sunflowers in the past but wanted to add more color. I decided to use copper and a chemical process to bring more reds into the petals. This gave it a summer like quality that will brighten your home. Each petal hammer and welded into place to mimic the individuality of each petal. A marbled rusted background complements the earthy tones while allowing the sunflower to shine. Edges may be sharp, use caution when hanging.
