Last year my husband and I were driving from Idaho after one of my largest festivals yet. As we followed the Malheur River home, we were waved on by thousands of prairie sunflowers. We pulled off to stretch our legs and I couldn't help but take the opportunity to snap a photo. Delighted with it haphazard stem and free flowing petals it was a beautiful contrast to the sunflowers more well known image. With this piece it signals the start of a new season of creating. Mixing welding, fabrication, blacksmithing and chasing/repousse, I was able to maintain its natural realism while keeping a simple but polished look.

Comes with french cleat system for easy and sturdy install.
